Comment Conditions
The comments section on PhoneLookup.com.au is designed to facilitate the sharing of user experiences with various phone numbers. This includes identifying both annoying calls (such as telemarketing and surveys) and useful ones (like couriers and authorities). It is not intended for commenting on phone numbers of private individuals.
Eligibility to Comment
Users aged 18 and over are welcome to comment, provided they adhere to our Comment Guidelines.
Comment Moderation
Every comment is screened against these conditions before it appears on the site, usually within the hour. Comments that breach the conditions are held or removed. This screening checks policy compliance only: it is not verification of a comment's claims, and publication is not an endorsement. Comments remain the unverified opinions and experiences of the users who post them.
Comments are also reviewed after publication through:
- Automated Detection: Ongoing automated checks against these guidelines.
- User Reports: Every comment carries a report link, and reported comments are reviewed promptly.
Comment Guidelines

- Posting any person's name, home or work address, email address, workplace, or other identifying or contact details, whether paired with a phone number or not. Comments that are the subject of a complaint may be hidden while we review them and will be removed where a complaint is substantiated.
